Encantos: Literary Journal, Vol. 1 (1999 Edition).

The Encantos Literary Journal is published annually by the Chican@ Studies department de Loyola Marymount University. The primary goal of this journal is to publish, present, and promote the creative writings of our Students, Alumni, and Faculty/Staff. 

Encantos is dedicated to presenting the richness, diversity, and beauty of the Multicultural experience in the United States of America. In addition, it will also serve as a catalyst for social justice through the promotion of these creative works, in the hopes of provoking critical thought, dialogue, and collaboration.
